Easy Gooey Cinnamon Roll Cake

This delicious cake is a great alternative to homemade cinnamon rolls because it can be made in half the time and still captures the essence of the beloved cinnamon roll.

Ingredients:

For the “Goo”:
  • 1 cup (8oz, 2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1½ tablespoon ground cinnamon
For the Cake:
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1½ cups whole milk, at room temperature
  • 2 eggs, at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • ½ cup (4oz, 1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
For the Glaze:
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 5 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
